Pedaling through the pages
A cycling-themed reading from the pages of Alfredo Oriani, followed by a visit to his house museum and a snack.
Sunday, October 4 – 2:30 PM
In collaboration with the Primola Association, we will discover some of the most captivating writings of Alfredo Oriani, a writer from Casola who lived between the 19th and 20th centuries and was a passionate cyclist, considered Italy’s first cycling tourist. The reading will take place in the beautiful park surrounding his house, now a museum, and will be followed by a guided tour of the house itself, a rare example of a perfectly furnished 19th-century stately home. Afterward, a tasty snack will provide the opportunity for a pleasant moment of conviviality.
