The Renaissance Festivals of Castel del Rio bring back the sumptuous atmosphere of the 16th century. It will be a big party in honor of the Alidosi Signoria.

A historical procession of 400 figures in Renaissance costumes will be the prelude to glorious dinners and festivities. The atmosphere and tastes of the renaissance era will fill the air.

Among the many scheduled events, make sure not to miss the historic procession in the evocative setting of the Palazzo Alidosi, the Palio del Biroccio, the historic entertainment and reenactments, the historical market and military camps, and the evening shows.

The highlight of the festival will be the traditional and compelling procession of the Strega followed by its burning with the fireworks at the Alidosi Bridge.
