DESCRIPTION:Beer\, music\, and traditional German dishes.\nThe Solarolo Pro Loco\, together with its German sister organizations\, Unisono Verein für Kommunale and v. Kircheim am Riesc\, is once again organizing the Solarolo Oktoberfest this year\, from Thursday\, September 17\, through Saturday\, September 19.  \nTraditional German dishes\, Romagna specialties\, and plenty of beer for the festival that Solarolo hosts in late September\, dedicated to youthful\, carefree fun. \nSince 1999\, the town has been twinned with the German city of Kirchheim am Ries\, so the Beer Festival is a great opportunity to visit each other and have fun together. \nDuring the three-day festival\, visitors can sample traditional dishes from across the Alps and specialties from the Romagna region at the food stand\, all accompanied\, of course\, by German beer and great music. \nSchedule \nThursday\, September 17\n7:00 p.m. Food stands open\n8:30 p.m. Musical evening \nFriday\, September 18\n7:00 p.m. Food stands open\n8:30 p.m. Musical evening \nSaturday\, September 19\n7:00 p.m. Food stalls open\n8:30 p.m. Musical evening \nEvery evening\, our friends from Kircheim am Ries will be serving specialties from their local cuisine and the delicious beer served at Oktoberfest. SUMMARY:Halloween - Samhain Capodanno Celtico
DESCRIPTION:Musical performances\, parades\, and reenactments will liven up the 2026 Celtic New Year!\n\nIn the Romagna of yesteryear\, the transition from October to November was considered New Year’s Day. \nThe origin of this calendar’s starting date was Celtic (the same as that of American Halloween). It was believed that the dead returned to earth to “put everything back in order” after the end of the agricultural cycle\, thereby preparing for the next one.  \nThe Riolo Night\, the first of its kind in Italy and scheduled for October 31\, is increasingly rediscovering the meaning of its origins.\nThroughout the town\, visitors will find themselves in a world somewhat removed from the present\, with reenactments of ancient Celtic villages and their rituals. \nThe main theme is always the eternal struggle between good and evil\, featuring battles between fantastical creatures and parades through the town’s streets. \nAt the food stands\, you can sample traditional dishes and fine local wine\, including mulled wine. \nThere will also be various markets featuring farm products and other items strictly related to the Celtic theme. \nThe music will be provided by powerful drum corps\, which will accompany the numerous parades of performance groups. \nAt approximately midnight on October 31\, the “final battle” takes place.
