SUMMARY:Casola Valsenio's Forgotten Fruit Festival
DESCRIPTION:Market exhibition of autumn products and ancient fruits. \nThe Casola Valsenio Forgotten Fruit Festival returns\, the traditional event dedicated to the rediscovery of those fruits whose use has long been lost. \nDuring the second and third weekends of October (10-11 and 17-18)\, the farmers of Casola display the autumn fruits collected from ancient plants\, in a setting reminiscent of the cultural and folkloristic aspects of rural life in the past. \nThe protagonists will be precisely them: medlars\, azaroles\, rowanberries\, hazelnuts\, chestnuts\, strawberry trees\, cornelian cherries and all the other small autumn fruits\, forgotten in the transition from agricultural to industrial society. \nThe Casola Valsenio Chestnut will also be the star of the Forgotten Fruit Festival in Casola Valsenio.
