The “twin towers” of Mordano

The twin towers form the entrance to the historic fortified center of Mordano.

The towers were built at the end of the 1800s in place of the old gate that was designed by the engineer Giovanni Brusi, which drew inspiration from the towers of the Venetian Arsenal.

As was fashionable at the time, it has strong medieval influences and many merlons.
