Faenza is the ceramic city, known around the world for its beautiful majolica decorated and made by hand using ancient designs and techniques. Visit the International Museum dedicated to ceramics (the most important in Italy) and stop by an artisanal workshop, where you can see masters at work. Visit the old town center of Faenza; stroll through its spectacular piazza and see the Duomo, the Palazzo Comunale and the Museo dell’Età Neoclassica in Romagna. Discover Brisighella, one of the 100 Borghi più Belli d’Italia, with its medieval city center and Via degli Asini and taste its extraordinary extra virgin olive oil.

  • Meet in Faenza, open visit to the MIC (Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche), a renowned artisanal workshop, the Museo dell’Età Neoclassica in Romagna, and to the old town center.
  • Head to Brisighella and dine in a typical restaurant in the historic center with a lunchroom carved out of the gypsum.
  • Open visit to the medieval hamlet of Brisighella: the Via degli Asini, the Clock towner and the Rocca Veneziana
  • Tasting of the extra virgin olive oil certified with Brisighella DOP, one of the first five oils in Italy to have received DOP certification.

By request: guide for Brisighella or Faenza from 95 € (3 hours – up to 20 people) or € 145 for both (6 hours in total, divided between morning and afternoon, with break for lunch excluded).

The price includes: entrance to the MIC, lunch in a typical local restaurant with four course menu (salumi and crostini appetizer, handmade pasta from the region, second course with side, dessert, drinks and coffee), Brisighella DOP oil tasting.
